Lynne's Story
The Power Vested was created as a labor of love. C. Lynne Alas, the Chief Executive Officer and Officiant for the company is a cancer survivor who, after having the opportunity to examine what is most important in life, realized that love is it. Love is what brings us together in the most beautiful way.
During the time spent fighting a life-threatening illness, she did not focus on dying, but instead, used that time to study to be a part of the love experience, by bringing people together in love and unity. She began classes to become a Certified Christian counselor and also an ordained minister.
It is now her mission in life to unite others in the bonds of matrimony. Minister Alas works with each couple to create the ceremony they have always dreamt of having.
Each ceremony is personalized for each couple. No two are alike. The vows can be either traditional, self-written vows or one-of-a-kind vows written by Lynne, a professional writer.
She strives to capture the love and commitment that each wedding ceremony should exhibit. Unique and touching Unity ceremonies are also available should the couple choose to perform one in their wedding, most of which come with keepsakes to mark the occasion for years to come.
